Evaluation My media product was created as a school magazine cover. I tried to use popular forms and conventions, basing the layout and design from previous additions of our own schools most resent magazine and examples of other schools magazines.
I think that the more professional approach to the task was too formal, increasing the appeal towards adults rather than making it targeted towards students as well. the colours I used are the same.
I think that if I used brighter colours and a less structured sett, the appeal would have stretched. although this is a nice piece, I think that the addition of the issue number was too much, even if it isn't clear.
I think that as a first attempt at design, I produced a cover that was quite good, but there is plenty of room for improvement.
The plan of my contents page is very limited, showing clearly where my text and image will be, but i think more detail needs to be put into it.
